Crossroads M.C.

It all started when I retired from the Diablos M.C . I was approached
in August of
1998 by four bikers in Bristol Ct.  (Nick, John, Richie and a guy called Mental)
They wanted to start a motorcycle club and asked me If I would help them. I
kicked it around for a couple of weeks and decided to go for it.  I contacted a
member of the Diablos called Big Mike and asked him if he was interested. He
said he would think about it and eventually decided to give it a shot.

We had our first meeting in Mental's garage with the now called, "Chartered
Members" and our closest friends who rode Harley's that were interested in
joining the club. By the third meeting we had about eighty guys interested in
starting this new club. The Charter members sat down and weeded out the
undesirable. We now had a club. The club was officially formed September 1st
of 1998. Next on the agenda was to come up with the name for this club. We
decided on the "Crossroads M.C."  Some of the younger members thought that
the name would represent the crossroads of "good versus evil". The older guys
that had been around, would like to think they were at the crossroads of life and
pretty much know what life as a biker will bring them.  We decided "Crossroads
M.C". was a good name because it was a name that would not scare people
away from hanging around or supporting us.

We have a club name. Up to now ,nobody really knew what we were up to. Now
we were ready to don our Crossroads tee shirts and let the town and state know
we were a M.C.  Next was to contact the CCMC. (Conn. Confederation of M.C's) I
contacted Richie and Dennis,  they pointed me in the right direction.  After so
many meetings the Crossroads M.C. became full members of the CCMC in
April of 1999.

Our motto is: We are known not to go around and stir up trouble. But if we are
confronted, we don't back down. No matter what it takes the Crossroads M.C.
will prevail. Our reputation speaks for itself.

The education I received from the Diablos M.C. From hanging around and
prospecting in the early eighties to being a retired member. From the Charter
and Original members,  to the members that have joined since then and the
new members of the Crossroads M.C.,  We consider ourselves among the best
of the best M.C.'s around. We will hold the standards that the Charter members
have set.
